Yesterday I served the temp at 225 to cook a couple of butts ,after a hour and half I noticed the temp drop no flame also noticed I hadn't heard the auger run, so tapped the side of hopper and it came on ran a little and fired back up ran probably for two solid hours the out again. I then cleaned out fire pot and hopper and tried again seemed to work a little better pit I turned the heat up to 300. The three recent times I had cooked on it no problems, I have the pellets in hopper because I keep grill in garage, added some more that morning from the bag I had bought the previous week. What could be the problem? The p setting is at 4. Thanks

it is possible that the auger was jammed a bit. I would keep an eye on it on your next long cook to make sure that it is not the auger motor going out.
