Best Pellet storage container

Hi all,

New to the pellet smoker world and LOVE my PitBoss Pro 1600. Quick question though around pellet storage. I've seen some posts where people say to first sift the pellets before storing. Is there a storage container that anyones aware of that has a sifter built into it?

5 gallon bucket with a cover, mark what kind of pellets they are. Not sure if the sell something like that with a built-in sifter.

This is the only one that I've run across. It's pricey for what it is, but it's a good solution.

I use a 5 gallon bucket as well. I also cut the top and bottom off of the empty bag and slide it on the bucket to show what's inside.

Using those storage containers you can get at Walmart, etc. With handles and snap on lids. Works for me.

5 gal bucket from lowes,etc. Some say firehouse subs has 5 gal pickle buckets for like 5 bucks they sell. They all work great.

Welcome to the club. I use a 5 gal bucket & a strainer my wife had an extra in the kitchen.

I use the excess cat litter containers from a good friend of mine that has cats. Have to let them air out couple weeks.

5 gallon buckets and lids from Lowes.

I use a five gallon bucket with the lid, from my experience the dust migrates to the bottom, so I use the pellet down, then just sift the pellets at the bottom before using them.

I use these from Tractor Supply, they hold a 20 pound bag perfectly and you can stack them. As far as sifting the pellets before use that seems a bit over-rated to me, unless you never clean your smoker. But hey, that's just me!

That’s similar to what I use. Easier to open than a 5 gallon pail and keeps it bone dry.
