Very niceSmoked my first brisket on the pellet grill…
A piece “fell off” while I was bringing it inside
I’ll know what to do (and not to do) next time but at least it smells good…

It appears to me that some type of sharp object was involved.Smoked my first brisket on the pellet grill…

Dang opposable thumb most likely…It appears to me that some type of sharp object was involved.
May be it was just digits, phalanges, and pollex that caused the separation, eh?
Looks great and sounds interesting.Fantastic 180 to 400 smoked chicken wings today! Dry brined 14 wings overnight with Bad Byron's butt rub. Using Bear Mountain gourmet pellets in the cook, my Bit Boss 850 DX was brought up to 180. Smoked the batch of wings low and slow for 1.5 hours. Amazing the amount of smoke. Soon after upped the temp to 400 flipping the wings on each side after 12 minutes. Removed from the grill tossed in some Kinders cherry & brown sugar bbq and the other batch in Kinders Honey BBQ. Back on the pellet grill for 4 minutes a side at 250. The wings came out amazing. Plenty of smoke, crisp and fall off the bone. Can't wait to eat the left overs, the smoke flavor will intensify. Also used the Smokes Like a Boss diffuser for the first time - worked like a champ. Heat was uniform across the grill.
