Tonight was my first time cooking on it. Made some wings because I figured they would be an easy cook. The family loved them.
I didn't put any sauce on them while cooking. Half the family likes them wet, half likes them dry. I normally mix up my own rub but this time I used Jack Daniel's Chicken Rub that I picked up at the local store that morning.They look really good. You make yhe sauce from scratch? Thank you for the info, i have a recipe for dry rub then smoke 375 till chicken 170-175+ then pull, apply wet dressing then resmoke till dressing is hardned.I didn't put any sauce on them while cooking. 1 hour at 230, then turned it up to 375 till the skin crisped up.
