🔥 What's Smoking/Cooking on your Pit Boss?

Did ribs a little different yesterday, dry rub let sit for 1/2 hour then 2 hours at 250. After that wrapped in foil for 2 1/2 hours at 250, removed one slab; opened foil on the other and lathered with sauce left in smoker in for 15 minutes more. Holy crap, the bones were falling out of the slabs, what an easy cook !

New Pitboss owner here. My wife bought me a 1600 Pro series for Christmas. Tonight was my first time cooking on it. Made some wings because I figured they would be an easy cook. The family loved them.

They look really good. You make yhe sauce from scratch? Curious on recipe if you did. Great looking wings.

I didn't put any sauce on them while cooking. Half the family likes them wet, half likes them dry. I normally mix up my own rub but this time I used Jack Daniel's Chicken Rub that I picked up at the local store that morning.
1 hour at 230, then turned it up to 375 till the skin crisped up.

Thank you for the info, i have a recipe for dry rub then smoke 375 till chicken 170-175+ then pull, apply wet dressing then resmoke till dressing is hardned.
