Left over brisket chili

I'm jelly you're able to buy just the point!
I've been known to over cook a brisket as an excuse to use the flat for chili.
Yeah all the grocery stores only sell the flat,,,,,the local is where I go for the point or flat only.....packer is a bit much for only 2 people
 
here is another method for your chili ,...but will make big "meatballs" to get more smoked surface

 
I agree it is expensive to do what we do. I only buy when meat that is on sale, or marked down. Then it goes in the freezer until I need it. I verry rarely pay full price for any cut of meat.
Same here. Meat is expensive so we’re looking for good meat that’s been marked down. Occasionally we’ll pay full price but why not look over the mark downs. There’s good selections there.

This is my main place also. I have a purty good selection of the tenderloin tails in my freezer. Lately they've raised the prices on them though.
