I have followed the directions, you tubed how etc. i start my grill, set the temp to L after the plum of smoke etc attempt to set the temp to 225 to smoke ribs. Temp climbs to 225 but does not stop. Last time I let it get to 250, turned the temp down to 215 and the grill temp fell to about 230. New grill, new pellets etc. what am I doing wrong? Very frustrated.

Welcome from Texas to the group !
It takes a couple of cooks to settle in
Check all the wire connections
No need to get frustrated
It’s a learning curve if this is the first pellet grill you’ve owned
You say it’s new. Have you only cooked on it twice ?🇺🇸🇺🇸

Welcome from No.Ala. When it started up in temp - it kept climbing? Did the pellets keep feeding? Do you have an aftermarket wireless thermometer to cross ck the temps? Is the vent all the way open? Just trying to brain storm/
