Pro 850 Series at Lowe’s

It looks like - for the same price - the new Pro 850 Series is an upgrade/fix of all the bad things I’m encountering with my Pro 820 series??? I suspect that Lowe’s won’t make an even trade now that I’ve used this 820 five times? #sad

It is shame that Pit Boss did this as I am seeing numerous complaints on it. They knew they were releasing a new model with different features with a PID controller. They should have discounted the previous models since they have different features.

I am questioning Danson business behavior as Traeger discounted there models when they went to a new redesign and features prior to there release.

Did you happen to see the New Pro Series 1150 at that Lowes as my local Lowes said they are not getting them until Spring.

I take back my skeptical comments about returning my used Pit Boss 820 pellet smoker to Lowe’s to exchange it for the new Pro 850 - same price, better features. I had 3 days left on my 90 return period and after cleaning it up I took it back to Lowe’s for a full “satisfaction guaranteed” refund. My new 850 will be delivered on Nov. 3 - Election Day. I enjoyed my 820, but who wouldn’t want to exchange it for a new 850 at no extra cost?

that is cool and Lowes is discontinuing the Pro Series 1100 as they are now selling them at $479 until they are gone. They are moving toward the New pro Series 1150.

I would check Walmart for possible sales. I got my 1100 for 350 last year end of season.
