Position of unit

Morning all. I’m looking at setting up my Combo so I don’t have to move it every time I use it. Manual says to have it 36 inches from a combustible construction. I’m looking at putting it by the side of my garage that is brick. Should I still keep it 36 inches away or could it be closer?

My both Pellet grills are about 10 - 12 inches from my brick wall and no problem at all.

Thanks Dave. My old stick burner was about that far away from the spot I’m looking to move it to.

Might want to check what's overhead.

Their is a small over hang. The unit would sit in about the same spot as my old stick burner and I had no problems with it.
