Hello everyone,
I’m new here, so this question may have already been covered, but I’ll ask anyway.
I live in Southwest Florida where the humidity is very high. I was told I could store wood pellets in the original bag in the garage. After using some, I put the remaining pellets into a sealed bucket from Lowe’s and then put them back into the bag with the rest.
I checked them today and they feel soft.
Previously I stored them inside the house under AC. After bringing them outside a few times they also became soft — I didn’t realize that moving them from AC into the heat would cause them to “sweat.”
What’s the best way to store pellets in this kind of humid climate so they don’t soften up?
