just bought the 1100 pro series any advice

Hi woody,

Welcome and my advice as we have the same grill is to let it preheat for 15 - 20 minutes so it settles down. I find it that the grill performs much better.

@DaveXDm9 , the manual also suggests preheating. I have been doing that with my 700S and I have been happy so far with it.

Thanks I’ve cooked on it 4 times various types of meat and they all turned out great!

I like to remind everyone it makes a world of difference. With my Savannah controller I do not have to worry about it as much it is already tuned to temp.
