I have to run the bottom at 350 to get the top to 225. Auger making noise but working okay.Just a heads up on Lockhart temp on upper chamber--temp on control board does not equal what it really is....about 20-25 degrees off (actually higher than readout)... Try this-- take one of your meat probes and hang it in the chamber (not touching anything). It is hotter than what digital readout is! Not a bad thing, but thought you should know. Problem appears to be placement of temperature probe in the side of chamber.
Will work good on long cook ribs while not having to crank up the bottom chamber.
