I intend to use Bear Mountain pellets. Their gourmet blend (I'm presuming is their competition blend?) is mixed using hickory, maple, and cherry.
I'd like to make a mix of mesquite, pecan, and cherry woods. Has anyone tried this blend? Does it work, taste good?
I definitely want the mesquite and the cherry woods used, the pecan can be switched out with something else depending on the suggestion(s) I receive here.
