Heat diffuser

Hi.
New here, my first day but I'm pretty familiarwith the Pitbosses, I had an 850 and 1100 and now I own a Titan.
When you're talking a heat diffuser, are you talking about that box they sell aftermarket that goes over the fire pot or are you trying to do something to shield or separate the heat that leaks through the sear window the flame broiler plate?

I've been playing around with his aspect of Pitbossfor a while now I'll be curious to hear what you're trying to do
