Finally gonna do it!

Its a wood deck. I dug my holes for my concrete tubes 3 feet into the ground with anchors to connect the deck. I dont think it is going to move. I toyed with the idea of pouring a slab for the floor but getting the truck to the back yard to pour it made that a difficult option.

3' should be well below the frost line. Hope it all goes smoothly.

Got the deck part done today. Its nice to really get started on it

Looks pretty good. Are you going to have all your cookers on one side or do a corner thing with half one side and join the other half in a corner?
So the only side that will not have cookers will be the front. On the left side will be my drum and kamodo. The back side will have my gas grill and Blackstone. On the right side will be my Pitboss 1600 and my Masterbuilt electric, and in the center of the floor will be my prep table. I want the table in the middle so it is accessible from all of the cookers.

Looking really good and you sure filled up the dance floor. Are you going to build another deck for a bar/eating area? It really looks great.

The dance floor is full around the edges. The prep table is in the center with 3.5 feet of space on all sides to walk around it. The plan is to put up the walls and roof. I had to pause that until spring. We just had to have trees removed after a wind storm so the completion of the shack is on pause. I was actually thinking of extending the deck portion another 16 ft for our patio furniture at some point, but not a priority at this time.
