As I was finishing up a top round roast yesterday on my Pit Boss Titan I couldn'y help but to notice the dust everywhere and got to thinking. I know that every pellet grill / smoker produces a lot of dust in the cooking barrel as it is the nature of the beast. After all the fan that helps the pellets burn also blows the dust everywhere. But why is it that all the engineers and tech people can't come up with some kind of a filtering system to at least cut down on the amount of ash / dust that is being blown all around the barrel. There has to be dust on the food we are cooking and that can't be all that healthy. If ash and dust were health I would ask for more, not less. Anyway, the first one to come up with a way of eliminating the dust or at least cutting down on the amount will be the real hero to those of us who use pellet smokers.
