Hi All,

I picked up this pellet smoker second hand as it was returned with an Auger problem.
As soon as power is connected the Auger starts running. Doesn't matter what setting the dial is on, it just starts running.
I have pulled the wires apart and put them back together as per wiring diagram and still just keeps running.

Please if anyone has a solution to this problem or can point me in the right direction to find help I would be very happy. Really want to start cooking on this smoker.

I see nobody has responded to you issue. I am having the same problem. Did you ever find out what was causing it?

Hey @Merc4183 After speaking with pitboss for the 3rd time, they suggested that the problem could be the control panel. So I have ordered a new control panel and a new auger motor which should be arriving in the next fortnight. I will install the new parts and see if that fixes it.
I will post here with the answer

If it second hand I beleive you have a bad controller. I would make sure that the auger motor you bought is a 2 rpm not a 1.6 rpm.
