Anyone else have this issue?

Hello. I am new here but have had my Pit Boss for a few years now and have never had this issue. The smoke is going into the pellet box instead of out the stack. Has anyone else had this happen?

Dump the pellets and clean/clear auger tube. Blow everything out good

Thank you. We tried that. Took everything off the smoker and cleaned it out real good. Turned it back on to test it and seemed to have cleared the issue. Put all the food back on and it worked fine for a couple hours and now doing it again.
We clean everything out with a small leaf blower and a vac after every cook. The only thing we did different this time was used Pit Boss brand pellets.

Welcome from east Texas to the group. Depending on the pellets you use it’s always best to them through a colander
I use bear mountain pellets without any issues

Thank you for the info. Peppers and ribs are finally done and moved the rest of the meat over to the vertical box for the night.
I will be getting a colander before the next cook session and will look for that brand of pellets.
