Temp Knob Is Off

Smoking on my pitboss for the third time and my temp setting doesnt represent what my knob is on and it is going up by 50* instead of 25*. So at 225 its 250, at 250 it says 300, etc. Did I cause this somehow and is there a fix? Thanks.

Update: turned the knob off and it went from 250* to 350* on my thermo. Im unplugging.
