Smoker overload

My 700 keeps overloading and pops the gfi. Replaced multiply items, but cannot figure this out. Any suggestions

When my vertical chip smoker kept popping the gif I found burnt wires going to the controller. Replaced the controller, under warranty, and now alls fine.

Where were the burnt wires located?

Where were the burnt wires located?

They were the wires that came off the controller. Of course, this being a chip smoker rather than a pellet smoker, there were only two wires. I'll take a photo if I can find it. It definitely created an open short.
