SmokeIT App Spamming Notifications

My smoke it app keeps spamming me grill temp updates..... The kicker is, the thing is not even plugged in. I have the Pro 1150. I am able to log in and change the temp even when the thing isn't plugged in. Literally just got one right now! Your grill temp has reached 180. Thing is not even plugged in. It's been doing this the past 5 days. I feel like there is a neighbor who has the same grill that I am connecting to or something.

Why won’t SmokeIt App send a confirmation email or how long do I need to wait?

Use the Apple link to log in with an iPhone and Google for Android phones. Even they are not the email you want to use. Don't create an account, they are both secure log ins.
