Is the smoke stack cap supposed to be adjustable on the KC Combo? Haven't been able to find a definitive answer online and mine doesn't seem to be adjustable, trying to figure out if that's expected or not.

Nah, unfortunately something must be off with mine. I checked it again just now, spun it in both directions at least 30 times, and there's zero vertical movement. It's also slightly wobbly when spinning so I'm assuming it's not catching on whatever it's supposed to be screwing into. I'll call Pitboss later and see if they can send me a replacement under warranty.

Finally got around to calling Pitboss today and they're sending me another smoke stack and cap. I've had to have a few replacement parts sent for my KC Combo since I got it 2 years ago but I have to say, Pitboss' customer service has been great and there's never been any hassle in getting these replacement parts.

I just had to contact them myself for the first time. lost that stupid plastic handle on my adjusting bar. All they asked for was SN date of purchase and address...3 mins later had myself a order placed...works for me lol

Congratulations 🍾🎉!!
Glad you got it all handled 🇺🇸🇺🇸

Has anyone added treads ( Threading ) extra with a die to make the smoke stack cap on the LP gas grill portion able to close more than the factory threads ? I know as mentioned you do not want to close it completely, but any advantage to making it close more ?

You can but I don’t see the reasoning behind it for my 820
Air you having issues with wind or cold weather?🇺🇸🇺🇸
