I recently bought a Pitboss Pro series 1150 and never been able to connect it to the Smoke it app.
It says that the grill is off even if it is not. I installed the app few times on my Andoid phone and on my wife's iPhone, always with the same result.
I have tried to contact the customer service dedicated to the app and after a couple of weeks and few follow-up, they told me that they are aware "some units are doing the same as mine, and a fix will be implemented shortly."
I'm not sure what shortly means for them, does anyone had the same issue? do you have any suggestion to solve this?
