Repeal of country of origin law

"Since 2013, American consumers have seen labels on their meat telling them where the animal was born, raised and slaughtered. Today is the first time I came across this, so I thought it might interest some of you. Requirements about country where processed would still remain I believe.
 
We probably already have had Asian shrimp. FDA and Washington D.C. are more worried about keeping big business happy than our health/environment.
