Good Day All Smokers and PitBoss People
I have a Red Rock 2 Series Model # PBV2G1 that for the last two times wont come up to temp, I initially thought it may be the propane regulator, I changed it with a known good regulator but to no avail.

It lights easy, the smoke burner does not come on at all, and the flame looks kind of small even at highest temp setting,

Any Ideas on what to check, (common issues) before I tear into it and take all the control valve and burner apart?

Thank You All In Advance

Welcome from Texas to the group!
How often do you clean it?
Sounds like there’s a blockage somewhere 🇨🇱🇺🇸

Hi, I clean it between every use, but have not gone into the propane delivery, I replaced the propane regulator, but no change, this week end I will strip it down to see if there is a blockage

Look in any gas flow tubing for spider webs...
Run a wire with a hooked end thru them...

I know this is a furnace, but same principle. Search youtube for gas grill spiderweb blockage....

Must say when it was working good, I was sure my neighbours hated me for the flavourful aroma that it billowed into the area
