Question on used KC Combo purchase

New to Pit Boss. I just purchased a used KC Combo unit. Griddle plate & gas heating tents were missing. Griddle plate should be arriving tomorrow & heating tents should show up on another order shortly. Been figuring out what is missing & everything’s coming together. Replacement grease bucket picked up in Walmart. I noticed there is a small chain hanging from the front right side of the grill. Still trying to figure out what the chain is used for? Any help is appreciated…

It's used with a match to light the gas side of the combo. I just use a one of those lighters with the long end.

Thanks for the info. Not sure why that is even needed unless they felt you were not going to keep the built in igniter working.

On my old lp gas unit there was a chain and hook to hang thr gas hose...
