Has anyone ever thought of using a range hood over your pit boss vertical smoker and using it in your garage I live in Wisconsin and the weather here it gets pretty bad and I wanna be able to use my smoker all year around

I use mine in my barn, I have big doors, level cement floor. Keeps me and the smoker out of the cold winds.

I think I’ve decided to put a piece of cement board behind it along with my range hood over it vented out the roof

Hi Ruger, I'm also in WI. I think that sounds like a great idea and will be curious to hear how well it vents "all" the smoke. If you have room in your garage, and it vents well enough for you, go for it. sounds awesome.

Had to add a second vent to the outside but it evacs 95% of the smoke
