Pit boss 850 Google home

I just bought a pit boss 850 pro series and it advertises it connects with google home. I go through the smoke it app and click google home set up but nothing happens. Has anybody had any luck connecting their grill to their google home?

It is the same for me. Apparently, smoke it is able to connect to Google Home if the device is a Tragger.
