Pit Boss 600 Pro - Upgrade to PID controller

Just bought the PB600 from Lowes and used it for the second time. Right away I saw my model had a controller that was in 25 degree increments. Also, the controller didn't keep the grill at a consistent temperature, was always too high. Called customer service today, and asked about getting the upgraded controller board. They said, Yes there is a PID board with smaller increments than 25 degree increments but no BT. They said at this moment they don't have a controller with BT for my model, yet. They are sending me, for free, the upgraded, more accurate board! Good customer service! I will report back later on my results.

So what ever came of this? I chatted with customer service last week and they said a controller update doesn’t exist for the p600

One's at Lowe's have the 25 deg increments I looked at. Maybe something new?
