Just went through my first bag of pitboss competition pellets. Cleaned the grates and firebox cover. Vacuumed a boat load of pellet dust out of the bottom. Anyone else having this issue?

My local Tractor Supply has them. I have the gourmet ones they also have apple, hickory and oak pellets. I never really seem ash on my food, I have the PBV4PS2 smoker.
Just used a bag of Bear Mountain Pecan. Excellent!

I just poured in a new bag of bear mountain I got yesterday and they are dusty as well. I may have to come up with a way to filter out the dust.
Yep, just get a sifter. Should solve the problem.

Yes it is. Was starting a cook and open a new bag and it was full of dust. I was looking @ Walmart on line to see what they had and my wife said to try it. It works great.

No. It’s just a plain old colander.
this is what I use to fill the hopper by the scoop.
you just scoop it out of the bag and give a little shake the dust falls right out back into the bag or wherever.
dollar store, I have a few.
Also I have taken the grate off so I can scoop pellets back out and stir or agitate them so they don't bridge up.
