I have the combo unit sold by Lowes. The fire on the propane side is too low, and the middle burner goes out when down on low. Anyone know how to tune the tubes to give a higher flame and not shut down when on low?

Something may be obstructing the gas flow or the gas pressure regulator is set to low. There is an orifice downstream of the gas valve that may have a tiny grain of dirt or other debris blocking the gas flow. Do you have access to a different regulator to try?

No, I don't have a spare. And, getting to the back of each valve is a major hassle. I guess I'll have to take the whole thing apart. Ugh!

I have a larger burner for my crawfish boil rig. This burner has a variable pressure regulator, they aren't expensive . Sometimes dirt gets in the fitting where it attaches to the tank. Give it a visual inspection to see if a mud dauber wasp or spider clogged it up.

Brand new grill. Just fired it up for the first time today. I saw some videos showing to disconnect the regulator and let it sit for 30 seconds and to reconnect and open valve slowly to repressurize. I'll give that a try and see if that corrects anything.
