I actually like having everything near my grills and smoker. Actually works out. In fairness I was taking over the pantry with all my rubs,sauces,paper,foil and pellets.

Might want to watch your spices.
Humidity might be an issue.
I have something similar in my garage for all my "stuff".

A couple of the spices "clump up" from the humidity. I shake 'em loose, then simply put those in quart size sandwich bags to seal off. Minimizes future clumps....
