I don’t wet them. I fill up the tube and light itso you put pellets and wood chips in the tube and you wet them or anything or just lay them on the girl racks and let them do their thing?
Last a good bit. Definitely long enough to get it with a great smoke flavorOh ok and just put on top of the grill grates? Which give do you have and how long do they last per cook
You’re more than welcomeI’ll check it out thanks
Yes to smoke tube and I’ve used both Kirkland and Bear Mountain Gourmet Blend. I used the same pellets in the tube as the smoker. Both of these pellets DONOT produce much smoke flavor but the do produce a smoke ring. How do you actually use a smoke tube? I understand you put pellets I assume inside a tube and then what?
I have been just using pellets.I layer wood chips with pellets in mine
I pull the meat out of the fridge after lighting it
It’ll absorb the smoke easier when the meat is cold
Hopefully this helps you![]()

I Light the smoke tube with a propane torch, let it flame for a minute or two, blow out the flame..and I have plenty of smoke. I place it on a rack at the lowest point in the smoker. How do you actually use a smoke tube? I understand you put pellets I assume inside a tube and then what?
