Hey folks. Just been fiddling with my WM clearance deal Austin XL for the last three weeks and so far I really like it. I’ve been burning Bear Mountain Gormet Blend and BnB hickory. Both are giving great taste and acceptable smoke although not as pronounced as my kettles. Looking forward to learning more from others and sharing some of my pellet adventures with y’all. My cooker says Hi!

Welcome! I grew up in Knoxville and still have family there. My wife and I both graduated from UT so we are Vol fans but have been down in the dumps for the last decade with lousy football.

As you can see in my photo I am sporting an FSU hat but that is just something I gotta do -- my kid and my money go there! So now I have two terrible teams I can watch hahaha!

Hope the Austin XL works out for you and glad you like it. A pellet smoker isn't going to produce as much smoke flavor as a stick burner but it sure is nice and easy to use which to me is much better than tending a fire and temps.
