Many have hung their upper grill rack to the back of their Pit Boss for storage by using rare earth magnet hooks. The ones I ordered from Amazon simply were not as strong as they advertised. Or they would not stick to the powder coating. So can someone point me to the magnets that you purchased that worked for this mod? TIA

Thanks Dad! Appreciate the guidance. Just wanted to find ones that someone had proof that they were strong enough.

Yea I used some layin around the shop. They didnt work good, especially with all 3 racks. I did the required "Due Diligence" and found these. Great hold, cheap price!

....and Im serious. Dont get your finger in the way!

I was referring to the hooks @Dad_Roman posted. I just bought a set for general purpose use on the Pit Boss
Yea I took a chance on these when I ordered them. They are about the size of a standard kitchen hook magnet (like for hanging a pot holder) so I was worried but a standard hook is a 25-ish lb magnet and these are 100 lb.

These look regular but are SERIOUS magnets.

I should remind everyone, remember that I have a Lexington which means SHORTY. I have 2 main racks and my top one is a short 20 inches or so.. I believe its in the 550 inch range. For you guys with the 1000's and 1150's your racks will be longer and heavier although I do not believe it will be ANY problem for these hooks. I used 2 but 4 come in the pack which makes it a no brainer even for the bigger grills.
