I was told by customer service that the code err is the temperature probe. If you have your receipt to show proof of purchase & it was purchased in the last 5 years it should be under warranty, & they should send you a new one.
Had same problem:
1) PB first replaced control board-- didn't fix
2) replaced temp probe --didn't fix
3) replaced igniter -- FIXED. Come to find out, original one was loose from factory. I think that was the real problem.
