I just bought the Ultimate 4 Burner. I noticed towards the right side there are welds under the hot plate for the brackets. Right about there the surface had a slight wear mark. After cooking on the griddle that area doesn't seem easy to remove the remains. I have to scrub really hard with the scrubber sponge. I called customer service and they asked for a pic of the area. Once they saw it he said there looks like an issue with the coating and will replace the hot plate no charge. That's great. I happen to ask how much does it cost buying one and he said 60.00! That's it? Seems when they ship it to me it would cost more than the hotplate itself!

I would have figured more too.

On their website a new griddle top cost $200, which i almost bought.
But they're sending me a new one under warranty instead, and on the info they emailed me, it says it's $60, which of course they're waiving.
So I'm not sure if they're selling a better version on their website, or if we might be able to score this for $60 by calling in instead of the website.

I’d be happy and run with it
Just keep it clean after each cook
