Handle on the side of the pellet box

Does anyone know if it's safe to use the handle on the side of the pellet box to lift that end of the grill? Or is that there just to hang utensils from ?

That’s what it’s there for. Just moved mine. My 820 has three knobs on the shelf for hanging utensils
