Hallelujah. My Smoker is back

I have been dealing with my PS1100 tripping the GFI for quite sometime. Which was inconvenient. But just used a different indoor outlet.
Over past several months was dealing with pains trying to get temps up and then stable. Dealt with some very frustrating smokes. Over winter I bought the PB thermal blanket. But still didn’t help temp issues.
After joining here and doing some reading and with ton of advice I can say my baby is back.
Ordered the smoke like a boss heat air gap mod and the smoke tamer (though didn’t use it tonight since wanted to seer the steaks.
Also ordered a new ceramic firepot and the hot igniter. Which solved the GFI issues.
To top it off I ordered a replacement broiler shield and grate that arrived today.

Temps were perfect and was smiling during the whole cook. Potatoes and Filets.
While it was 29 degrees out.

So glad to have it back and not having to run a separate extension chord. Now if spring would hurry up and get here.

O yeah. Also ordered the recommended inkbird 4 probe unit which I love.

Well that’s awesome! What’s not awesome is that you had to go through so much effort, troubleshooting, and inconvenience to get your smoker setup to a satisfactory level. PB should have addressed all those things OTD.
