Flame Broiler Slide Cover and Bottom Kit

That rust is ok, it's gonna happen to sheet metal that endures extreme heat cycles that is exasperated with briney drippings. Finding one made of high grade Stainless steel would address the issue. If you seek out one take a magnet. A magnet will not "stick" to the better SS kitchen sinks. A friend gave me a PB barrel type pellet grill. I intend to fab a diffuser to go under the stock slide apparatus to keep the area above the crucible from getting red hot. I prefer a smoker to smoke and a grill to grill.

I cannot seem to find a replacement for the Flame Broiler Slide Cover and Bottom Kit fot pitboss pro 1150 series. Can you help. Mine has rusted very badly.
Thank you in advance
Unless it has rusted through don't worry about it. Unless it won't close/seal sear slider.
I wish mine would rust closed. LoL
I keep the pan on my 1150 wrapped in heavy foil and stuff/cover the left side opening where the temp probe is.

Mine has so much grease on it I use a putty knife to remove it's needles to say I have no rust I suppose it would burn off if I cooked above 275 but I never go that high if I do that I'm using the oven inside . I could not keep it clean enough to rust. I don't see how it's posabley a thing my inside oven gets cleaned after a good mac and cheese 😐

Exactly, I only keep my grates relatively clean, my only other concern is smokey seasoned condensate drippings on my fish.
I clean the crucible chamber with shop vac and scrap up any lard that finds it way there.
Sorry guys, only temp probes to get cleaned around here have been the meat probes, lol.
