Error Code E-L

Upright smoker was working fine. Got an error code E-L...can't find it in the troubleshooting guide. Cleaned fire pot and auger hole twice....kept getting code. Now unit won't start up...code shows as soon as I hit the on switch.
What's up??

E-L or ErL? If it is ErL FF to 4:26

If it happens to power up at all, before you turn it on take everything out (heat shield, water pan, etc). Leave the door open and keep an eye on the auger. If it doesn't turn it is jammed. I do not know if this stops the unit from turning on or not it your case. You may want to contact PB customer service and leave a call back number.

The thread below might have some more information as well but read thru the whole thread because it could be the auger binding up or a wiring issue. Since yours is not moving at all it might be a wiring issue or possibly the internal temp probe which is an easy fix and they are cheap on Amazon

No matter what you decide I would still call customer support and they will send free replacement parts. You can keep them for a backup if you order anything off Amazon.
