My mom calls this morning wants to know if some new retired neighbors could use my grills. Their freezer had quit and they was looking for more cooking area. So I tell her sure there's plenty of charcoal,wood and pellets in storage room.
I get home from work and my grills haven't been used but my smoker was still warm. I raise the lid and the nastiest most putrid smell ever hit me. They had used my new 1150 (1 momth) to cook whatever had rotted in their freezer. Mom then ask me if I was going to say anything. No I hope they eat it they don't have dogs.
So 2 1/2 cans of oven cleaner later and a quick preseason and I'll start the seasoning again. Guess I should be glad they didn't use my charcoal grills also.
