Converted to pellet smoking

I've been considering some sort of smoking for years. Started with charcoal, then had to do propane. A few years ago, switched back charcoal. Just burned in the V4PS2. Can't wait to find the first meat to smoke. I've narrowed it down to chicken or beef brisket.
 
Welcome aboard! The world is yours, but I'd hold off on the brisket until you know what you like and don't like from the smoker first. Chicken or ribs are a great first cook to dial it in and then try a pork shoulder to really dial in your longer cooks. I know I would have been upset with the pellet world If I had gone brisket first. 😉
