Battery or generator

I need to smoke off grid but want the luxury of my BT and wifi to my phone. Does anyone have any experience with using a deep deep battery or a generator.

FF to about 6:25. These work on any pellet grill I have seen a lot of videos of people using them on small grills and big ones.
