Independence Day!
Went to Sam's for some meat to smoke. Got a nice USDA Prime Brisket... No Pork Butts in stock, waiting on next truck to come in.
I came across some Hatch Pepper and Monterey Jack Sausages last week they were very good so I picked up two more packs. These should make some mighty fine Shotgun Shells! I have tried this Killer Hog Stuff. Their Rub is very much like what I make, same with their vinegar sauce. It's definitelyworth a try even if you prefer your own!

I just been doing those sausages on the Blackstone. We also restocked.

A couple weeks ago Steph and I made Texas Twinkies and scratch made Shotgun Shell. We couldn't find Hatch Chili peppers or Cubanelle so we used fire roasted pablanos. This weekend we will use these sausages for the Shotgun shells.

Well it's about 95f in the shade, feels like temp is about 104f... so why not fire up the ole stick burner, drink some cold beer!
