Hey smokers,
i got my hands on an updated 1150 pro controller and installed it in my 850 pro. The first hour the grill ran 50 degrees over the set temp. I was worried if it would corrected itself but as it reached hour 2, the grill temp matched the set temp. I now have the 10 degree increments and app temp control of my 850 pro. I now also have 4 probe connections instead of 2. Hopefully pit boss upgrades the 850 pro controller for the temp settings in the near future but if not, know that if you can get your hands on an updated 1150 pro controller it will work great in the 850!
