I was looking for a pit boss grill awhile ago. I waited until April look at the different grill/ smokers out there. As soon as I saw the Lockhart, I fell in love with it. So for my birthday, my wife decided it was worth the money. She bought it for my birthday.
I didn’t have to put it together, Walmart did that for me, I had to pick it up, that wasn’t any problem.
I did the burn out for about an hour and a half. Today’s the first time I’ve been able to use it. I’m in love with it. Though it’s a learning process. I have meatloaf, burgers, sausages and hot diggity dogs on it. I smoked the dogs snd sausages.
I’m in love with this wonderful grill.
I use to do barrow charcoal smoking but that’s a lot more expensive that pellets. I had a burger when they came off the grill. Just awesome. I’ve passed the word to all of my contacts. I believe a few will be purchasing one.
thank you Pit Boss for the cutting edge goodness. Only one problem, whin trying to open both grill and smoker at the same time, it doesn’t work very well. I’d suggest moving the grill hood blocking device over and back about an inch, placing one on each side of the smoker would help a lot.
