So cleaning the boss today and noticed this in my pellet cup, wondering if that is causing smoke to get into hopper also notice of late it doesn’t get as hot as it used to maybe because it’s losing heat due to those holes.

We’re looking through those black areas into the interior? What model and how old is it?

Good grief. Is that still under warranty?

My vertical’s burn pot is a cylinder shape rather than conical. It’s such a heavy gauge steel I can’t imagine it’s burning through like that if ever.
Should be it’s a 5 year warranty no clue how that can happen I keep it covered and it’s under a covered area thinking smoke is getting in those holes and losing heat

How thick is the steel there on that pot? Mine’s about .25 inch, can’t pull it out to check it’s currently running.
