I have had several years of problem free use of my Pro Series Vertical Smoker (exclusive Lowe's product). Until yesterday.
I had the smoker set for 250 and the temperature continued to rise 300. I turned it off. Restarted set the temp for 300. I turned it off at 350. It was still rising.
I opened the door to cool it off to 300. When I closed the door the temp started to rise again.
The temperature probe is clean.
Any thoughts?

Welcome from Texas to the group!
When the last time you cleaned it up including the temperature sensor?
A dirty sensor will have the temperature inaccurate
I clean mine after each cook
Let me know what you find
Hopefully this helps you 🇺🇸🇺🇸
