Have a 600 FB pellet smoker. Got it last fall did a couple smokes. So so results ( lots of experience with Weber smokeymountain, just didn’t want to work as hard anymore. )

anyway , I put it away for winter and pulled it out a couple weeks ago to get it right and figure things out. Figured innaccurate temps were issue. Added a thermoworks X2 surface probe and a dry run , a rib run and today a brisket run to see if my suspicions were right. It seems they were. I’m running this thing on the 200 degree setting and getting variances from 185 to 300 degrees. I know by nature pellet grills go above and under target temp on pellet feed. But with that kind of variance? Is there something wrong with this thing or does it just not work right? Look at pic. Look at dial look at pit boss digital readout and look at thermoworks. Very unhappy with this grill.
