I started the smoker at 7 AM and set the temperature for 225. It’s now 4 o’clock and the highest temperature it read was 215 and that was just about a half hour ago. I think my temperature probe is way off and even the two probes that I stuck in the pork butts were off from my instant Probe. How do I fix my temperatures so they’re accurate?

I own a INKBIRD and not use the probes from PitBoss 🇺🇸🇺🇸

Raise the temperature up so you're not there till the 4th of July.

I had temp issues with my 700DX after only using it four times. Set at 225°, it would climb to 280° or so and stay there. Pit Boss said it was the temp sensor and sent me a new one. The problem remained and Pit Boss said the sensor they sent must be bad...so they sent me a new one. I still had the problem, so Pit Boss sent me a new control panel. BINGO! My smoker now works awesome! I've done two cooks (one for 4 hours and one for 9 hours) and the temp never went above 5° more than what I had it set to.
